Any advice?

Building a house, and trying to layout my garage. I am a hobby wood worker. Cabinets, furniture, and such. I am traying to share the garage with my wife, and was wondering a few things.

1. Can I rotate the filters in this orientation from the intake?
2. Is the pipe layout roughly a good idea, or is there a better way.

Ceiling is 9'4" Garage doors are 8 foot doors. I will be adding a downdraft table, planner and maybe a joiner in the future, but right now trying to set up for table saw in the front of the garage by the door, router table somewhere in the middle, may move it against the wall, and the miter station.

Looking for any advice, before I buy. Thinking CV1800 RH model would work. Thanks for any feedback!

Mikeyroth,

You certainly can rotate the filters around as you have shown without any issues. Your Ductwork layout appears okay (using the wyes and a 45 for drops or a pair of 45s and short straight for your elbows). I would recommend a 6" x 6" rubber Fernco fitting between the end of your long straight into the inlet to connect to a short straight stub at the first wye. Here is one from Lowes.
