Anybody looking for some HVAC flex?

You are asking NickLazz for an answer to a 2-1/2 year old thread, and I have not seen him on the forum recently. I did a similar thing for straight exhausting from my CV1800 blower by making a sheet metal adapter to fit into the blower opening (in place of the curved transition for the filter stack) and it transitions to 10" diameter. I use 10" insulated HVAC flex to a similar transition that mounts into a crawl space vent (10" round to 8 x 16" rectangular) that is equal to a missing concrete block. Here is a link to the method I used to make the sheet metal transition, also called an "evolution" by some folks. I bought the sheet metal and HVAC flex from my local big box store (Lowes). I only do this during part of the year (my cyclone is located below my shop in a high crawl space and I do return filtered air most of the time).
