I was just curious if anyone ever tried quantifying the amount of or characterizing the dust that passes through one of these cyclones or knows of someone who has tried.
John Hopkins University measured the separation performance of the mini cyclone as built by Ed Morgano a few years ago. I was unable to find the results though they were published on the site at one time.
