Filters and intake on the same side

If I orientate my cyclone so that the filters and intake are both on the same side will I mess with the cyclone internal airflow?

I should have looked in the gallery first. I see a few installs setup this way. I assume they work ok. Probably over thinking a little.

The cyclone outputs air vertically through the blower. Where it goes from there is completely independent on the direction of the intake pipe. It is perfectly fine being sent back in the same direction as the intake pipe.
