Ferguson Waterworks, through its branches, is a nationwide supplier of piping and has all the pipe and and fittings that we need for a 6" ASTM2729 PVC ducting system. Although they serve the contractor market, they were most happy to sell to me, a hobbyist. I am in Trumbull, Connecticut.
