New Installation Questions

I am currently installing my CV1800 and have a couple of questions (reference page 16 of the revised installation manual).

1) Step #6: It appears that the only thing holding the cyclone body up is the six 1 5/8" drywall screws. Has anybody found this attachment method to be inadequate or does it seem to work well for everyone?

2) Step #8: Along the same line of thinking....are the six clips adequate for securely attaching the entire cyclone unit to the blower housing? And do you recommend sealing this connection somehow?
 
JD, I found that the connections as built work fine. Mines been up and running for 4 years now and no problems. It only has to hold the weight of the cyclone, and that is really pretty light. Congrats on your purchase! You're going to love it! Jim.
