type of cement for blast gates

What type of cement do you recommend for connecting your clear blast gates to pvc pipe? Is pvc solvent cement ok?

I don't recommend cementing the blast gates in case you ever want to move them. It would be better to tape them. If you are concerned about leaks, you could use some clear silicone calk. Apply a small amount to the pipe and slip the gate over the pipe. It will allow you to take the gate off later if you need to move it.
