Where to caulk

We recommend you caulk anywhere the PETG meets the painted body. Sealing your cyclone is probably the most important part of mounting your system. When your cyclone is air-tight, you are ensured that it is working at its optimum performance.

Caulk between blower housing and cyclone body

I just finished this step, and I think the question was whether or not to caulk between the MDF ring of the blower housing and the MDF ring at the top of the cyclone cone... Those two pieces of MDF are held together by the six (basically sheetrock) screws.
To be safe, I caulked the gap around the inside of the ring, where the two pieces of MDF met. It was easier and cleaner than caulking around the outside, and used a lot less caulk.
