clearvue using IVAC remote instead

I am purchasing a clearvue CV 1800 but already own an IVAC remote system. The IVAC plugs into a 230 V plug then you plug the dust collector into it and it turns on power to the collector by remote or by switches hooked to the table saw cord, bandsaw, etc.. Can the motor be wired with an ordinary 230 v plug or do I need this box?

If I have the correct product the IVAC 240 volt switch is rated at 20 amps which is light for the CV1800. You can buy a relay rated for at least 30 amps and 5 HP and build your own control box for less money than the prewired box.
