Exhaust from filters

I'm just starting to design my system around the CV1800 Max.

Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question, but does the outgoing air from these units diffuse through the side walls of the filters or is it exhausted out of the bottom.

Thanks in advance
Andy

Exhaust

With the filters recommended from Wynn's, the air is exhausted through the side. Keep in mind that both the ends of the filter(s) are open. One end will be your intake likely connected to the exhaust port of the cyclone and the other end will need to be sealed off with a cleanout box or in our case, a plate. This is our set up. http://www.gallery2.clearvuecyclones.com/v/CV1800+and+CVMax/Installs/IMG_0392.JPG.html

Be sure to check out the Gallery on other guy's cyclones. Lots of good ideas that can help.

Exhaust from filters

Thanks, Terry....appreciate the pointer to the photos too.
I've got quite a confined space so I'm studying the scale drawings pretty intently, but it wasn't obvious from them where the airflow went once it entered the filters.

I'll certainly work my way through the galleries.

Regards
Andy
