Remote Control Failure?

Hi, I built my system about nine years ago and the remote control worked fine until recently. It suddenly quit working and my first fix was to replace the battery. No luck. It barely will turn on the motor if I stand right next to the receiver and repeatedly press on-off over and over. This is a huge problem as I don't know any other way to turn on the system.

Robert,
If you search the forum for remote you will find posts of remote failiure and receiver failure. Since you have only one remote I suggest you call Clearvue and have them send you both units.
