Read the section on ducting especially the parts discussing material selection. I went with 6" PVC and my only regret is that I'd like 7" diameter pipe. That's not available in PVC. Metal HVAC ducts and components are readily available but they tend to be thin and the joints are backwards for dust collection. Spiral pipe and other dust collection pipes are available at a price. A couple of people have recently had ducting and fittings made locally at very good prices. Read the posts in the ducting section of this forum.
