using teh mini for single machine use

I generally work in my shop on one machine per session. so I might spend 1 hour at my 17" band saw the one hour at the dick/belt sander and spindle sander.

I wanted to know if i could effectivly use the mini system with a new shop vac for dust collection on the machines described above?

Or will it be a wastte of time and money?
 
You absolutely can use the Mini as a stationary dust collection solution for your tools, especially if you aren't using any kind of dust collection currently. Depending on how much you are sanding, you may want to increase the size of our collection container. The Mini body may be mounted to any flat surface, air-tight container.

If you are looking for the ultimate in dust collection to collect that fine dust that is airborne, then I would recommend looking at our CV1800.
